Valle Aurina is a true Eldorado for climbers, as it lies at the foot of many mountains overpassing 3000 meters. The Italy mountain resorts located in this valley are: , Campo Tures, San Giovanni in Valle Aurina, San Giacomo, Predoi, San Pietro. In winter this valley offers two ski zones: the Speikboden, or Monte Spico, near Campo Tures or the Klausberg, or Monte Chiusetta, near Cadipietra.
