Valle Aurina South Tyrol
Valle Aurina is the northernmost valley in Italy, which is still one of the best preserved and traditional valleys in South Tyrol. It’s also famous for being the Mecca of extreme sports in Italy in winter and in summer: rafting, snowrafting, climbing on iced waterfalls, and so on. Valle Aurina is a true Eldorado for climbers, as it lies at the foot of many mountains overpassing 3000 meters. The Italy mountain resorts located in this valley are: , Campo Tures, San Giovanni in Valle Aurina, San Giacomo, Predoi, San Pietro. In winter this valley offers two ski zones: the Speikboden, or Monte Spico, near Campo Tures or the Klausberg, or Monte Chiusetta, near Cadipietra.
