Casere Valle Aurina

Casere Valle Aurina is the other ideal ski resort for Nordic skiing, thanks to its untouched and pristine landscapes. Snow is here present from November till April; Alpine skiing fans also count on the Klausberg ski zone, located in the nearby Alps ski resort of Cadipietra. Another attraction of Casere Valle Aurina are handcraft products, such as wooden masks, carved roots and pillow laces. Culture fans can visit the Santo Spirito church, famous for its Crucifix. This church dates back to the XV century and it was built to protect the Predoi miners and travelers crossing the Hohe Tauern pass to reach Austria. Moreover, there are many legends about this church!
